It snows again又下雪了
The white world came to my eyes when i went out this morning after i got up and took the shower. It snowed again, the second snow this winter in Beijing. It was not as heavy as the last one but the weather was colder because the northly wind was blowing hard. I took my usual morning walk and walked in the snow. The snow on the street has melted, changing into water. So i walked on the sidewalk of the street. It was much fun. I saw some cleaners were sweeping the snow. The snow on parts of the streets behind the buildings didn't melted but changed into ice after it was pressed by the cars and trucks. It was very slippery. People should be very careful when they walk or ride on the side of the streets. The first snow in Tianjin. The snow just before the New Year's Day is good omen(兆头) for the coming new year. The old saying goes like this\" Timely snow promises a harvest year(瑞雪兆丰年）\". It is true. The snow can prevent the plants and crops from cold. It acts as a blanket to cover the crops in cold winter months. It can also help to ease the draught in most part of the country. It snowed in Baodi the week before last though it didn't snow in Tianjin city proper. Badodi is part of Tianjin, which means it is in the jurisdiction of Tianjin. Did it snow there in Baodi last night? I guess so. Baodi is not far from Beijing. It snowed here in Beijing. snows here, in Tianjinsnow in the sky, slush on the ground I see the snow at last, but it is not thick, little disappointing I think the snow will moisten the dry weather of both Beijing and Tianjin. It is good for the crops and for people's health. I like snow . I enjoy the white world . At school many students went to the playground to play with snow. They were really happy . I stood by the window ,watching them . Their happiness infected me. Haven't seen snow for 2 years. Wish I could catch it this winter.
