College graduates - seeking for a job
Recently, some friends called me for some job vacancies, their relatives(nephew, niece, brothers, sisters) just graduate, they are seeking a job, so I've got dozens of resume on hand, but after reading their resumes, I found it will not be hard for those excellent graduatesto find a job, at least a job,for those who can not find a job, they really got some problem, either in their education, or in their communication skills, let me take examples,Nancy is my relative, she graduated from a Universtiy in Shandong province, with a major of Finance, even after one year, she was still staying at home, her aunt asked me for help, but when I saw the girl, I really think she can hardly find a job, even no any basic communication skill, after saying\" hello\", just sitting there silently, how come a company hire a dumb one, how can I recommend her even I do not recognize her?
Eedy is a sister of my good friend, she graduated from a Foreign Languages Institute, but unfortunatly, she held no any certificate for the language level, College English, Cambridge..., then , how to judge the English level of you? the certificate means nothing sometimes, but it is really something to knock the door...
So do not cry you are unlucky, do not cry there is no opportunity, if you are a graduate seeking a job, youmust make yourself ready for the job! God helps those who help themselves. It is true that many graduates nowadays can't do some sim ple work well, for example, making or answering a phone call, writing a work report. I don't know who should be blamed, the students or teachers? Our universities concentrate much on book knowleadge and seldom give students practical skills. The students who learn English for many years can't talk with foreigners freely though they have passed all kinds of tests successfully. Is our school education a failure?
