Sitting in the Dark All for a Good Cause

So what will you be doing at 8:30 on Saturday night?
Cuddling up with your loved ones and admiring the stars in the night sky or organising a treasure hunt in the dark？
The World Wildlife Fund hopes that you'll be sitting in the dark, observing Earth Hour.
What is Earth Hour? It's an attempt by the environmental group to get people, businesses, governments and organizations to turn off the lights for an hour to make a statement against global warming.
Around the world, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Colosseum in Rome will be dark. And in Washington, the Washington National Cathedral and the National Geographic Society headquarters will turn off their lights.

I'll take a walk with my wife for an hour after supper. We will turn off all the lights in our home to save power.

Some of the most famous landmarks in China will join \"Earth Hour\". The Bird's Nest and the Water Cube in Beijing and the Oriental Pearl Broadcasting Tower in Shanghai will switch off their lights for one hour on Saturday evening.
