That's Why
Jimmy started painting when he was three years old, and when he was five, he was already very good at it. He painted many beautiful and interesting pictures, and people paid a lot of money for them. They said, "This boy's going to be famous when he's little older, and then we're going to sell these pictures for a lot more money."Jimmy's pictures were different from other people's because he never painted on all of the paper. He painted on half of it, and the other half was always empty.
"That's very clever," everyone said, "Nobody else does that!"
One day somebody bought one of Jimmy's pictures and then said to him, "Please tell me this, Jimmy. Why do you paint on the bottom half of your pictures, but not on the top half?"
"Because I'm small," Jimmy said, "and my burshes don't reach very high." 吉米从3岁开始画画，到他5岁的时候已经非常擅长画画了。他画了很多漂亮有趣的图片，然后就有人高价收购。这些人就说，等他大点的时候一定会非常有名，到那时他的这些画就会卖很多钱了。
吉米画得特点就是他从来不在整张纸上都画满，只是画一半，而一半的纸都是空着的。
这就是他的高明之处，每个人都说，从没有人像吉米这样画画！
一天，有个买家问吉米，请问你为什么不画满整张画，而只是画一半呢？
因为我太小了，刷子够不到那么高，吉米说。
