HAPPY DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL端午节快乐！

There are more festivals this month. June 1 was the Children's Day, Children from all over the world celebrated this special day for them. Last Sunday was Father's Day, an occasion to mark and celebrate the contribution that fathers have made to our life. And this coming Saturday is the traditional Chinese festival, Dragon Boat Festival. It is also called the Duanwu Festival, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous rice（糯米）wrapped to form a pyramid using bamboo or reed leaves) and racing dragon boats.

DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL is a public holiday now. People should have one day off for the holiday.

Dragon boat racing is an indispensable part of the festival, held all over the country, especially in the southern provinces where there are many rivers and lakes.
