TOO MUCH RAIN THIS SUMMER今夏多雨
It is raining very heavily outside now. There is too much rainfall this summer. It has been raining in our area since late yesterday afternoon. Sunner rain cools the hot weather but it also brings much trouble to our life.The rain stormstruck Beijing and Tianjin on July 21 and streets were flooded. Cars and buses were washed away in the flooded streets. 77 people died in Beijing and scores of people died in Hebei Province because of the floods. It caused much economic loss, too. Farm crops were flooded and farm animals were drown, too. Fish ponds were overflown and lots of fish were lost. Many farm houses were also destroyed by the floods. Summer is the rainy season here in China but it has not been flooded in our area for many years so people are not ready for the floods, especially for city people, they don't know what to do with the floods.
