4th of July 美国独立日

Hello Everyone,

Happy 4th of July!! Here is the history about independence day i got online to share with you.

On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from Britain and Democracy was born. Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the \"land of the free and the home of the brave\" so they can begin their American Dream.

The United States is truly a diverse nation made up of dynamic people. Each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, and family gatherings. Through the Internet we are learning about and communicating with people of different nations, with different languages and different races throughout the world. Bringing the world closer with understanding and knowledge can only benefit all nations.

We invite all nations to celebrate with Americans online this Fourth of July.

Happy Birthday, America!

The Fourth of July has gone global.

Not only has the American expatriate(移居国外)community brought its rites(礼仪)abroad, but even the flags appear to have been outsourced(外购).

\"Made in China\" was printed prominently(显著地)on the staff(杆)of the hand-held plastic Stars and Stripes(星条旗)handed out to guests at the Independence Day party Tuesday at the suburban residence of U.S. Ambassador Warren W. Tichenor, head of the mission responsible for America's representation to U.N. offices in Geneva and the World Trade Organization.

\"It's nothing related to(无关的)national pride,\" said Lu Haitian, a spokesman at the Chinese mission. And, foreseeing a further growth in China's exports, he added. \"There will be more of these funny things in the future.\"
