My advice to learn English
Here is an e mail to a friend of mine about learning english. I want to share it with others too.Dear Shirley,
Your e mail was well written, which shows your written English is very good. Did you major in English when you were at university? I read English news reports every day to learn the latest information. When we get information in English it is easier for me to share it with our friends in English. Different people have different ways of learning English but we all agree that practice makes perfect. Many English learners in China learn English in order to pass exams so that they can get certificates. In this way they can find a better job. But the correct way to learn English is to learn English and use it at the same time. That is to say we must put what we have learned into practice. If you learn English but not practice it in your everyday work and life you can't expect to learn it well. That's why some people can't speak English when they communicate with foreigners though they have learned it for many years. You are a smart girl. I'm sure you can make more progress in English if you take my advice. Good luck.
