Netcom to eliminate monthly fixed-line fee网通将取消电月租

China Netcom is planning to remove the monthly service fee for fixed-line（固定）telephone users in order to attract more subscribers（用户）. China Netcom currently charges about 20 yuan per month in service fees.

The firm said it will also develop comprehensive（综合）service packages（套餐）which will include broadband（宽带）to attract more Internet users.
