Teachers' Day教师节

It is Sept. 10 today and Teachers' Day is here again. More than ten days has passed since the start of the new school terms. Even the schools in the earthquake affected areas have started their new term. Various celebrations are held to mark this important day for the teachers. State leaders visit schools and meet the representives of the teachers. The government attaches great importance to education. Most teachers in schools are working hard and gain much respect of the students and their parents. I think some schools in remote poverty-striken areas requires more attention from society and government. Qualified teachers are badly needed there and they don't have proper teaching equipments. I hope more teachers or volunteers will go and help the children there to have good education.
