COOL AUTUMN DAY凉爽的秋日

It is much cooler today after the heavy rain last night. The hot weather lingering here for weeks has been driven away by the autumn rain. The air-conditioner doesn't need to be on today though it worked hard yesterday because of the hot stuffy weather. We can relieve completely now after suffering a lot from the hot summer weather. The air is fresh and clean with cool breeze outside. Windows are open now to let it the fresh air. We feel very comfortable in such a cool fine day. Goodbye, hot summer days. I hope it will not be so hot next summer.

Autumn is not only cool but also a harvest season. Crops are ripe for harvest and farmers are busy getting in what they have sowed and planted. Apples, pears and many other kinds of fruit are waiting on the trees for people to pluck. Mid-Autumn Festival or Moon Festival is the important day in Autumn in Chinese culture. People celebrate this festival for the good harvest.

The dancing leaves on the trees tell me the cool Autumn breeze is here. The sun shines brightly in the clear sky after the rain. I really enjoy such fine weather.

when you go outside you need to wear thick clothes especially when you are riding a bicycle .
