Flooded Streets街道积水

There is too much rain this summer here in our region. It rained twice again early yesterday morning and morning today. The streets were flooded after the rain. When i was on the way to work yesterday morning i was riding bike in the flooded water like paddling a boat. I guess the drainage system didn't work well in our region.  I hope our city administrators should do something to improve the facilities.  Many regions in the south and east are flooded while some regions in the southwest are in bad drought. i saw the news reports about it on TV last night. It is as bad as the floods in the south.
