Teachers' Day

Teachers' Day is coming this Sunday. I still remember the first Teachers' Day was proposed by the government 22 years ago when i began to work as an English teacher. I felt proud to be a teacher at that time but soon i found it difficult to work as a teacher. There was a lot of knowledge for us to learn to become a qualified teacher. Teachers are regarded as the engineers of human's souls. They are also compared to gardeners while students to flowers.  Teachers are also labeled as greatest occupation in the world. These honoured laurels encourage teachers to work hard day and night. Some of them get sick or die of hard work. I think the government should do something more to help teachers to keep healthy besides those beautiful fames.
