Because of how their brains develop, boys and girls learn differently. Here are five examples.

Boys generally don't hear as well, so teachers must speak up to keep their attention.

Girls tend to get better grades. But because they are more critical（严格）of themselves, they also need more encouragement.   

Boys often must be personally interested in a subject to do well. Girls often work hard to please their parents and teachers.

Boys tend to learn math by focusing（集中在）on the numbers. Girls do better when relating（联系）numbers to real-life situations, such as in \"story problems.\"

Girls often learn by acting out a story they have read. Boys tend to focus on the facts of what they have read, not how they feel about it.
