First week of the new term新学期第一周

It is Friday again but it is the first Friday of the new term after the summer vacation. A week has almost passed since the new school semester started Monday this week. The first week is the most important for both students and teachers. Most students have started a new grade and have their new teachers. As for teachers they too have their new students. Well begun is half done. I think both students and teachers wanted to have a new start and leave a good impression on each other. After a week of schooling the students have come to know their teachers and the teachers have tried their best to make their class interesting so that the students enjoy their lessons. In my opinion, the first thing first is to make a good plan for both students and teachers. They should follow their plan and make progress every day. The students listen to the teachers attentively and finish their homework on time. Teachers prepare their lessons well before hand and check the students' homework carefully. Students should respect their teachers and take teacher's advice. Teachers should take care of their students and treat them as their own children. As one of my American teachers said many years ago\" If you want to be a good teacher you should love your students.\" When i was a teacher i followed this advice and treated every student equally whether they were good at their lessons or not. And of course i got their respect in return.

It has been several years since i left school. First i was a student then i was a teacher at school. I had taught at school for 20 year before i left. The school years were the best time i had. I often recall the happy time at school. How i wish yesterday once more!

山清水秀

I have nearly one hundred new students this term . I think I love them and they love me after a week of schooling . I hope we will have a happy time together .

I can see that you are a qualified and kind teacher. Love students and treat them as your own children.
