Winter is the coldest season of the year. It snows much in winter in the north. Water in the river is frozen and trees in the forest are shrouded with rime and ice. People can do winter sports such as skating and skiing. Children like to play in the snow and making snowman is great fun when it snows. People can keep warm by wearing heavy winter clothes when they go out or just stay in the warm room with central heating. Do you like winter? I don't quite like winter because it is too cold here in the north. Some people like winter and they enjoy winterscape with ice and snow around.
