SUMMER RAIN COOLS THE HOT WEATHER雨后清爽

It started to rain at supper time yesterday. I didn’t notice it at first because all the windows were shut and we used air-conditioners to cool the rooms. When I wanted to take our usual walk after supper I came to know that it was raining outside. The rain cancelled our walk and we had to watch\ TV, instead. The TV programs were not so interesting so we went to bed earlier. I opened the bedroom window to let the coolness in from outside. The rain started to fall heavily. The patting of the rain on the roof of the bicycle shed downstairs put me to sleep. I woke up a few times at night, finding the rain still pouring down. The rain lasted the whole night. It stopped at the time when I went to the company. The airs was fresh and clean after the rain at night, I could feel the breeze when I walked outside. It seemed autumn has arrived earlier. The rain last night cooled the hot weather in the past few days. What a fine day today. I love the summer rain.
