Pay attention to your daily diet(饮食)!
How well you sleep is closely connected to your daily diet. If you eat greasy(油腻的)or hard-to-digest(难消化的)food for supper or eat just before you sleep, it will keep your digestive(消化的)system working, keeping you awake. What should be on your daily menu(菜单)?
For supper, you can choose something low-fat and digestible(好消化的)like fish, chicken or lean(瘦的)meat. Also, eat some carbohydrates(碳水化合物)like rice and wheat. All the foods mentioned above can soothe(缓和)the nerves(神经). Avoid foods that cause gas such as legume(豆类), potato, corn, banana, bread, carbonic acid(碳酸)drinks and desserts.If you sill cannot sleep well after cutting out these harmful foods, try adding some foods that will make you sleepy, such as milk, oats(燕麦), honey, lotus seeds(莲子), longan(龙眼)or Chinese dates. |
