如果一样东西花了你“好多毛钱”，表示这样东西很贵。

[解释] 省钱是明智的做法。省一分就是赚一分。不要因为钱的数目不大就不把它当一回事，瞧不起小钱是不对的，要记住A penny saved is a penny earned这条经验。

If i think it unnecessary to spend money on dress and cosmetics i will use \"waste\". Perhaps i am wrong. I don't quite understand girls. As for boys i think it a waste of money to buy cigarrettes. Sometimes i drink a bit. So i spend some money on drinking.

Really? Either girls or boys have their own ways of spending money. If they think it a waste of money they will not do it. They spend money on it because they enjoy it very much. That's the way to use money. Make money and live happily with money.
